Our final installment of the Lifestyle Classes

At this point class attendees will have started to see some significant changes in their bodies and I want to make sure that you stay safe as you continue your journey to good health. Attendees will be asked to confer with their doctors before making any changes that we discuss here.

For those who take medication for high blood pressure, we will review the signs of getting too much medication and when to consider decreasing the amount of medication that you take.

For those who take medication for diabetes, we will review the signs of getting too much medication and when to consider decreasing the amount of medication that you take.

For those of you who have been treated for sleep apnea, we will have a brief discussion of how this is affected by weight and how to go about making adjustments.

As we age we lose hormones which are relevant to maintaining weight and wellness. There is enough controversy regarding hormone replacement therapy that it bears discussing. Since I am one of the co-authors of the guidelines for hormone replacement therapy we will review what the options are.

Support of family and friends: We will discuss as a group how your family and friends have reacted to your transformation. I’m looking forward to hear how everyone has been implementing changes to last a lifetime.

Meal and menu planning: We will end each class with a recipe to keep you motivated in your journey to a new healthier you!

This is our final class together. We have spent 6 weeks together laying the foundation for lifelong health and wellness. I hope that moving forward we can continue to be a support with additional programs.
