I have been working for a very long time to create an office environment that supports my patients in their quest for optimal health. This requires constant attention to the literature and developments in the world of obesity management. The struggles to be healthy are more than just about weight. It’s about total nutrition, fitness, good quality shopping and cooking. I’ve already started my cooking classes and I have a plan for the shopping.
My professional organization, AACE, has finally decided to focus their attention on this serious topic. They asked me to present to our membership at our 25th annual meeting this past week in Orlando. I was a part of a multi-day event that covered a broad range of topics as they relate to this.
