What Is the PREVENT-HF Study?
Over time, high blood sugar levels from Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease can put extra strain on the heart and blood vessels and increase the risk of heart failure.
This study will investigate whether a potential new combination of treatments may help reduce this risk.
Who Is This Study For?
You may be eligible to participate if:
- You have Type 2 diabetes
- You have high blood pressure (systolic >130mmHg)
- You have a history of cardiovascular disease (e.g., heart attack, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease)1
