Week 3 Introduction to Supplements and Circadian Rhythm
What is a supplement: We will open this portion of the class with a review of what a supplement is and what role they might play in your journey to health and wellness. We will review some key supplements, the literature that supports their use and how to decide which one is right for you.
Circadian Rhythm: If you’ve heard this term before I bet you haven’t heard about it in regards to how it relates to not just your weight but your longevity and even your cancer risk. In this section of the class, I will discuss the what, where, and why of sleep and how to get the best sleep for your overall wellness goals.
Psychosocial aspects of self-sabotage: Everyone encounters obstacles in their journey to get healthier. This portion of the class will be spent on identifying these before they completely derail your efforts.
Meal and menu planning: We will end each class with a recipe to keep you motivated in your journey to a new healthier you!
